About Red Cymbals
Red Cymbals is an Australian-owned company whose cymbals are handcrafted in our factory in Turkey, using methods that are part of a time-honoured tradition spanning many centuries since the 1600s.
Crafted from B20+ Bronze - Red Cymbals are made from B20+ bronze — an alloy of approximately 80% copper and 20% tin, widely regarded as the premium standard in cymbal manufacturing. The higher tin content produces richer harmonics, greater tonal complexity, and a more responsive feel compared to lower-grade alloys. Each cymbal is individually hammered, lathed, and finished by hand. We also offer B8 cymbals and Low Volume, and Stainless Steel Cymbals.
Our range covers the full spectrum of sound — from dark, dry, and trashy to bright and cutting — across crashes, rides, hi-hats, chinas, and effects cymbals. We also offer custom cymbal orders for drummers with specific tonal requirements.
People First Red Cymbals has a vision of putting people first — promoting the development of a community of drummers who come together and have each other's backs in good times and challenging ones.
We support people-centric and positive mental health initiatives, including Support Act and The Missed Foundation through monthly donations from the sale of Red Cymbals, as well as running events to promote positive wellbeing.
Regular jams and drum sheds serve to share ideas and create a space where people can connect. We also operate our own drum school at our warehouse in Australia to promote drumming and music education.
